01What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit the website. Cookies help your visit run smoothly and remember your preferences.
In addition to cookies, Orbecta uses similar techniques such as local storage (browser storage). In this policy we refer to all of these collectively as 'cookies' for readability.
02Which cookies does Orbecta use?
We use two categories: functional cookies (strictly necessary, exempt from consent) and analytical cookies (PostHog, only placed after your consent).
2.1 Functional cookies and storage items

2.2 Analytical cookies (only after consent)
These are only placed after you have given consent via the cookie notice. If you decline, they are not placed.

03What we DON'T do with cookies
To be clear — Orbecta does not use:
- Advertising cookies (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads etc.);
- Social media cookies (LinkedIn, Twitter pixels);
- Third-party trackers from advertising networks;
- Profiling cookies for behaviour on other websites.
04Analytical cookies (PostHog)
To understand how the Platform is used and to improve it, Orbecta uses PostHog, hosted within the EU. We place PostHog only after you have given consent via our cookie notice. If you decline, PostHog is not loaded and no analysis takes place.
With your consent, PostHog processes, among other things:
- Which pages and features you use, and your click behaviour;
- Technical data such as browser, device and approximate country;
- Session replay — recordings of your interaction with the Platform, where text and input fields are masked by default so that personal data is not visible.
The data is processed within the EU. You can withdraw your consent at any time (see section 6).
05Third-party services
When you make an online payment via Orbecta, our payment provider places its own cookies to prevent fraud and process the payment. These cookies are placed only on the payment page, not on orbecta.com itself.

You can manage cookies and local storage items at any time via your browser settings:

07Changes
We may amend this cookie policy when we make changes to the Platform. The most recent version is always available at orbecta.com/cookies_en.html.
