Orbecta v3.2.1 — Why the Orbecta Logo Was Updated
Today, I made a small but deliberate change: the Orbecta logo has been updated.
Not because there was anything wrong with the previous design, but because it no longer reflected where Orbecta is heading.
I like simplicity.
As Orbecta continued to evolve, I realized the previous logo contained too many details. While it was visually interesting and impressive, it started to move away from what I want the platform to represent: clarity, focus, and actionable intelligence.
Orbecta was built to reduce complexity.
Procurement and supply chain professionals are confronted every day with thousands of signals, news articles, supplier claims, contracts, risks, and compliance obligations. The challenge is not finding more information. The challenge is understanding what is relevant and knowing what action to take.
I wanted that same principle to be reflected in the logo.
Less noise. More focus.
The new design is simpler, more recognizable, and better aligned with what Orbecta aims to be: an intelligence platform that translates signals into concrete insights and actions.
Just like the platform itself, the logo is not a final destination. Orbecta will continue to evolve, improve, and refine. Sometimes progress comes in the form of major new features. Sometimes it comes from a small change that better reflects what you stand for.
For me, this felt like one of those changes.
